During yesterday's workshop I spent a little time talking about on line redundant storage of your photography. This is an efficient way of storing and distributing your photographs.
I would like to emphasize, however, that as these services are supplied by private companies they should not be the only backup you rely on.
So my policy of backup, backup, backup (3 copies with at least one in a separate location) does not include the online data storage service I use. I treat it as another backup and a fantastic way to get my files to clients as well as sell some as stock. I just don't rely solely on it or any of the other back ups I make.
Thanks to all who attended yesterday, the Royal Botanic Gardens is a great location. Thank you also for your feedback.

Which services did you mean - Flickr and others?
Hi Rob,
I use and recommend Photoshelter (http://pa.photoshelter.com/) which is a professional service. They have a wide range of accounts and services and well worth a visit to their site.
I haven't used Flickr.
